DAY 31: VENICE CITY, ITALY: KM: 65 / 100

This morning we travel by either water Bus direct from the Camp to St Marks Square or by Trek Coach to the Central Coach Station and then Board our Water Bus Along The Grand Canal to St Marks Square. Our first stop is to see the Glass Blowing Demonstration, A real must. Venetian Glass Gifts are for Sale. If you wish to visit the Lace Factory, Your T / L will escort you there. The rest of the day is at Leisure. Visit the Rialto Markets or Check the post Office if your waiting for Mail From Home.

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch At Your Cost, Dinner.

HILITES: Water Bus To St Marks Square And Return (Either Central Coach Station Or Direct From Camp, The Ferry Or Water Bus From Camp Does Not Always Operate),Grand Canal, ST Marks Square, Venetian Glass Blowing Demonstration, Lace Factory Visit.

OPTIONS: Great Venetian glass Buying, Excursion To The Lido Beach, Lace Factory Shopping, Gondola Ride.

MAIL COLLECTION: Check The Main Post Office At Rialto Bridge.


DAY 32: VENICE, ITALY TO FLORENCE, ITALY VIA PISA, ITALY: KM: 437

South through the Hills of Tuscanny to the Leaning Tower City Of Pisa, Galileos Masterpiece. After a short stop here its off to Firenze, better known to us as Florence. Our camp is nestled high in the Beautiful Hills Overlooking The City. Enjoy some nightlife in the City Tonight.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.

HILITES: Tuscan Hills Drive, Leaning Tower of Pisa View, Our Florence Campsite.

OPTIONS: Climb The Leaning Tower Of Pisa. Florence Bars Etc.


DAY 33: FLORENCE,ITALY: KM: 65

A Full day to take in the Treasures of Florence, wander the narrow streets to the markets but first of all your T / L will escort you to the Leather Works to see an Amazing Demonstration by a Leather Craft Master, then we walk down to the Academy to see Michelangelos David. The rest of the day is yours at leisure. Dont forget to try the Worlds Best Ice Cream before you leave. Tonight is Spent Relaxing At Camp.

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch At Your Cost, Dinner.

HILITES: Florence City, Leather Craft Demonstration, Silver Shop Visit, David At The Academy, Pontevechio, Dome Church, Michelangelo Plaza Vista over Florence.

OPTIONS: Great Leather Buys, Silver Shop Browsing, Markets, Museums, Ice Cream Shops.

N.B: After last Night in the City and a Rather Hectic Day, Tonight is spent relaxing at camp. If you wish to return to the City, your T / L will assist you with public Transport. At your Cost.


DAY 34: FLORENCE, ITALY TO ROMA (ROME), ITALY: KM:280

On the road by 0800(8am) to head south through beautiful Italian Countryside to the town of Sienna. A perfect place for our Picnic lunch. Then its on to our camp just outside the Eternal City of Rome. Tonight is Spent at camp, Your T / L will give you a briefing for our Rome stopover, Plus the camp has a Excellent Bar And Disco to keep you Happy.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.

HILITES: Sienna Visit.


DAY 35: ROMA, (ROME) ITALY. THE ETERNAL CITY: KM: 85

A Great day ahead as all roads do lead to Rome. Our First stop is the Vatican City ( Citta Del Vaticano) St Peters Square and the Basilica, The Largest Catholic Church ever built are yours to discover until around Midday. We meet up and drive past the Colloseum out to the Appian Way, once the Worlds Greatest Road. Along here we find a shady spot for lunch before visiting the Catacombs, a vast underground Cemetery. Return time to camp is around 1600 (4pm) To have Dinner and Re- Board the Coach to return to the City for a couple of Hours to see Rome Under Lights.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.

HILITES: Vatican City, St Peters, Appian Drive, Catacombs Visit, Rome By Night.


DAY 36: ROMA, (ROME) ITALY: KM: 50

Your day here is at leisure to explore more of this Fantastic place. Drop off is around 0900 (9am) and Pick-Up is around 1600 (4pm) to return to camp.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner (Italian) At The Camp Restaurant, At Your Cost.

HILITES: Full Briefing Before You Arrive In Rome City Today.

OPTIONS: Sistine Chapel Visit, Colloseum Visit, Self-Guided Walking Tour, Fashion Shopping


DAY 37: ROME, ITALY TO SORRENTO, ITALY: KM:225

Down the Boot of Italy To Sorrento and the Famed Isle Of Capri. En-Route we stop off at the Monte Cassino War memorial . Time To Reflect. Tonight relax at camp or walk into the Cliff Top village.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.

HILITES: Monte Cassino Visit, Sorrento Drive To Camp.


DAY 38: SORRENTO, ITALY TO BRINDISI, FERRY TERMINAL, ITALY TO BOARD OUR FERRY TO CORFU, GREECE: FERRY DEPARTS AT 2200 (10pm) TONIGHT.ARRIVAL ON CORFU IS AROUND 0600 (6am) ON DAY 39. KM:390

We pack the Trek Coach and Trailer as per a Normal Departure and drive to the Ferry Terminal in Sorrento to park up for the day. A 30 Minute ferry trip will see us arrive on the Beautiful Isle Of Capri. Your are now at leisure to explore this Wonderful place. Return time will be discussed by your T / L but normal return to Sorrento to board the Already Loaded Trek Coach is around 1500 (3pm).We then head east across Italy to The Port Of Brindisi To Line Up for the Ferry. On arrival here we will have our dinner. Departure to Corfu Is Around 2200 (10pm)-Ish. Bring your sleeping Bag and Mat On board with you .

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch / Snack On Capri At Your Cost, Dinner (Pizza ?) From The Food Kitty.

HILITES: Isle Of Capri Excursion (Return Ferry Transport), Night Drive Across Italy, Corfu Ferry.

OPTIONS: Swim In The Blue Grotto, Boat Into The Blue Grotto.

THE FERRY: Cabins (Limited) Are Sometimes Available, At Your Enquiry And Cost Once on Board The Ferry. There are Aircraft Type Seating On Some Ferries On a first Come Basis. Most Of Us Put Our Mat and Sleeping Bag Down And Relax for The Night. Once Secured, The Trek Coach and Trailer Are Out Of Bounds For Passengers, So Take All You Need With You.

DAY 39: ARRIVAL ON CORFU, GREECE: KM: 65

The Ferry normally docks around 0600 (6am), After Customs we head off to the Camp At the Northern end of the Island. After setting up on The Green Island, The Rest of the day is yours at leisure. Plenty to do, Relax , Swim , Catch up on that Tan. Tonight perhaps Join your Crew at the Traditional Greek night out Dinner / Dance.


MEALS: Breakfast On Arrival At Camp, Picnic Lunch At Camp, Dinner At Your Cost (The Traditional Greek Night Out).

HILITES: Corfu, Corfu.What Can I Say/ ???

OPTIONS: Motorcycle / Moped / Scooter Hire, 4WD hire, Swimming, Windsurfing, Local Bus To Town, Dinner / Dance ( Greek Night Out), Local Bars Etc.

CUSTOMS: Visas Today If Required.

$EXCHANGE: On The Ferry Or Banks Today On Corfu.


DAY 40: CORFU, GREECE, TO IGOUMENITSA, NORTHERN GREECE: KM: 80
FERRY (FLAT TOP) TONIGHT AROUND 1600 (4PM).2 HOUR TRIP:

We load the Trek Coach and Trailer as per a normal Departure. For those interested. your T / L will drop you off for the morning to go shopping and sightseeing in this Beautiful Town. Pickup is around 1130 (11.30am) to drive west to the Fantastic Beach at Palokastritsa, one of Europes Finest. Your T / L will advise you of the Ferry Departure but in the mean time relax, swim and enjoy. Tonight is spent at camp over in Northern Greece, resting for the Fantastic drive Down to Athens.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch At The Beach, Dinner.

HILITES: Old Corfu Town Visit, Palokastritsa Beach Visit, Ferry Ride.

THE FERRY (FLAT TOP): The Ferry is a Flat Top vehicle transport vessel. Once on board we can stay seated in the Coach or catch some fresh air.

N.B: Should for some reason out of the control of the company (EUROTREK),the flat top not be operating for any reason, then we will travel to the nearest port to Athens via the overnight ferry. Departure is around 2000 (8pm) and Arrival is around 0600 (6am) the next morning on Day 41.The type of ferry is similar to Brindisi To Corfu. See Day 38.


DAY 41: IGOUMENITSA, NORTHERN GREECE TO ATHENS, GREECE: KM: 585 

The Magnificent Northern Greece scenery awaits us as we drive south through fantastic mountian scenery enroute to Athens. This afternoon a chance to walk across the Mighty Corinth Canal . Arrival Into camp is around 1800 (6pm). Tonight visit the Plaka, Athens Premier night Spot and Bar Area. A Great Way to end a great Day in this Great Land.

MEALS: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.

HILITES: Northern Greece Mountain Drive, Walk Across The Corinth Canal, Plaka Area Visit.

OPTIONS: Athens Night Spots And Bars.


DAY 42: ATHENS CITY, MAINLAND GREECE: KM:65, TO CHIOS, GREEK ISLAND. BY FERRY TONIGHT. DEPARTURE TIME IS AROUND 2200 (10pm). 8 HOURS AT SEA.

We load the Trek Coach as per a Normal Departure and Drive Into the City. You are at Leisure until we meet up again around 1800 (6pm) to have our evening Meal . Your T / L will advise you of our Confirmed Departure time and lay the rest of the Day out for you. This means we may have some more time in the City before we head down to the docks to Load the Coach.

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch At Your Cost, Picnic Style Dinner.

HILITES: Athens City All Day.

OPTIONS: Acropolis Visit, Museums ect.

MAIL COLLECTION: This Is A Mail Collection City, Check The Post Office.

THE OVERNIGHT FERRY: PLEASE SEE DAY 38:


DAY 43: ARRIVAL IN CHIOS ISLAND, GREEK ISLANDS: KM: 50

The ferry will berth at Chios around 0600 (6am). After setting up camp and having Breakfast you are at leisure for the next three days. Basically your time here is for you to do some sight seeing, explore the villages and the island its self. You will love our Greek Island Paradise. As usual your T / L will give you a Full run down on your Options.

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch At Your Cost, Dinner.

HILITES: Agean Ferry Crossing, Chios Island Arrival, Free Time.

OPTIONS: Motor Cycle / Moped / Scooter Hire, 4WD Hire, Hiking, Swimming, Local Bus around The Island And Into The Village.

$EXCHANGE: Local Banks In Town.

N.B: The EUROTREK COACH WILL NOT BE USED During Our Chios Stop over for Touring, Transfers ETC. As everything is so close and we have found that the Passengers like to do their own thing in their own time. The time spent here and by NOT USING the coach helps us stay Legal with the Authorities. (This Time Off From Behind The Steering Wheel, Complies With The Very Strict E.U REGULATIONS, Relating to Drivers Hours).So Every One Benefits.
